He executes justice for the oppressed and gives food to the hungry. The LORD sets prisoners free, the LORD gives sight to the blind, he lifts up those who are bowed down, the LORD loves those who live justly. The LORD watches over the immigrant and sustains the fatherless and the widow, but he frustrates the ways of the wicked. -Psalm 146:7-9

Philippians 4:8-9 for the week

1 Cor. 11:8-9 " For man was not made from the woman, but woman from man. Neither was man created for woman, but woman for man"

"....we were created to be our husband's helper not our children's mother. Certainly we are to love, care for, and nurture our children..but this love is to flow out of a lifestyle that is first and foremost committed to helping our husbands. Our husbands should always remain first in our hearts and in our care. In fact, one of the most loving things we can do for our children is to prize our husbands. It provides a wonderful security in their lives, and it presents a biblical model for them and their future marriages"
