He executes justice for the oppressed and gives food to the hungry. The LORD sets prisoners free, the LORD gives sight to the blind, he lifts up those who are bowed down, the LORD loves those who live justly. The LORD watches over the immigrant and sustains the fatherless and the widow, but he frustrates the ways of the wicked. -Psalm 146:7-9

Thisl- "Ghetto Memorials"

My husband and I had the privilege to meet Thisl this past week as he was brought here for a concert for a local university. This brother was a real down to earth, humble dude. We sat down and heard his testimony, talked about ministry for him in the hood, as well as how the Lord worked in bringing he and his wife together. Y'all, I was soo encouraged at the end of the night. I just love how the Lord sends people to say things he know we need to hear, when we need to hear it. (Ephesians 4:29) We are hoping to have more fellowship time with him (and hopefully his wifey) in the future. Check out this video below as he talks about urban ministry and the realities of living in the hood.
