He executes justice for the oppressed and gives food to the hungry. The LORD sets prisoners free, the LORD gives sight to the blind, he lifts up those who are bowed down, the LORD loves those who live justly. The LORD watches over the immigrant and sustains the fatherless and the widow, but he frustrates the ways of the wicked. -Psalm 146:7-9

SRM 2011

Monday was the start of our Summer Resident Mission!! (Internship)20 young adults
(college students/graduates)are spending the summer with us to serve, learn and do life with the kids and families in our community. This week is their orientation, next week they will meet the kids and begin enagaging our neighbors. Please, pray for them.

Pray that they are comforted by the cross and have an overwhelming grasp of the gosple.
Pray that they don't grow weary while doing good.
Pray that they preach the gosple with boldness and compassion.
Pray that God grow them in servanthood.
Pray that God raise up a new generation of justice leaders, who show mercy, and walk humbly with God.
