I am so thankful for our church family. Kevin and I have been members of Eastwood for what, 7 or 8 years now? ( I may be a little off) Anyway, this summer our Vacation Bible School used Common Ground as their focus. They taught the kids from out of the book of Nehemiah (which is one of my husbands favorite books) and incorporated Common Ground to teach the children what the LORD is doing through us on the west side of Montgomery. As service projects, the sixth grade boys built a swing set in the Kellys back yard, to see what it looks like click here. In addition, for kaiya the sixth grade girls built a trunk for all her pretend play as well as a table with chairs for tea parties.. Here are just a few pictures of the amazing job they did! Kaiya and "B" have so much fun with the newly added furniture!! Thank you again Eastwood for all your love and encouragement!!!
