He executes justice for the oppressed and gives food to the hungry. The LORD sets prisoners free, the LORD gives sight to the blind, he lifts up those who are bowed down, the LORD loves those who live justly. The LORD watches over the immigrant and sustains the fatherless and the widow, but he frustrates the ways of the wicked. -Psalm 146:7-9

Dabar(Promise) 2 Chronicles 7:14

God's Promise for me today is
2 Chronicles 7:14

"if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land."

My pride always gets in the way of me knowing and remembering the benefits of obedience. I am encouraged tonight to remember the good that comes with true genuine repentance. God gives grace to the humble. The same God that made this promise thousands of years ago, is still the same God today. He is ready and willing to heal me of all of sins shame and guilt.
