Once upon a time, there were 16 princess who had never been told about a special gift that they were given. That gift was the "kiss". This gift was to be kept safe, until they were to marry. IF, they ever did get married. But, if not, then the gift would be theirs to treasure FOREVER. The King, their Father, was mindful of his daughters, He knew how difficult this task would be for them. So, before eternity pass, he had a plan to send out messengers to instruct, train and encourage His daughters in how to preserve such a gift until the right time. The messengers were honored to be apart of such a task. You see, they too once were given the same gift, unfortunately, some gave it away. But, the gracious King restored what was lost, and gave them joy and peace beyond all understanding. He used what happen to them to prepare and equip them to be used for His purposes and the good of these precious princesses.
After much prayer and careful instruction, the Princesses begin to learn how much the King loved them, how much of a unique and special treasure they were, how to guard their "kiss" (purity) as they grew up. They learned to be careful about making friends/marrying "strangers" (non believers), they learned how to guard their heart, to beware of someone of tries to buy them love, they even learned how submission and humility reflect a wise heart, and so much more.
The Princess were quite thrilled to have learned such a wealth of knowledge. For it taught them how to live outside of the royal palace. A place that was quite scary to many of them. A place were they spent most of their time before the Kings messengers arrived. Now fear was no longer a issue for them. You see, now the Princesses knew how to think and respond to such chaotic dwellings.
On Friday, April 23, 2010, the King hosted a ball in honor of His daughters to celebrate the beginning of a journey that they would always remember. The Kings messengers awarded the Princess for their endurance and faithfulness by giving them The Princess Prayer Box Necklace. It symbolizes the Kings gift of purity. It is also representative of the messengers love, desire and prayer for the princess to choose a path of purity and to keep her "kiss" safe. The symbols on each side of this beautiful Prayer Box will help the princess remember key life lessons that they learned during this journey.
What a celebration it was!! Many of the Princess mums and grandmums were in attendance. They were informed about all that the Princesses learned and were encouraged to join them on the journey. The King has plan for his daughters, daughters everywhere! What a honor, privilege and joy it was to partake in such a memorable celebration. Until next year when a new group of Princess will grace the court, may I encourage you to love, which comes from a pure heart and a good conscience and a sincere faith.
