Hey friends,
If you don't mind, would you please keep us in your prayers this week and the weeks to come? Here are a few prayer request:
Pray:
1. As a ministry we would always strive to make the Lord's name famous and not our own. All Glory to Him for all the great things that are being accomplished on Montgomery's Westside through Common Ground Montgomery.
2. Before you pray for our safety and the safety of our kids in this "dangerous" neighborhood, would you first pray that Christ name would be magnified, that God's kingdom would advance here, and that as a staff we would preach the gospel with BOLDNESS!
3.That our marriages and children would always be our first priority and that we would guard our times with them well!
4. Strong Tower @Washington Park (our church plant) pray for our leaders, future deacons and elders. Pray that God would reach the nations with gosple through this small church plant and through this community of believers. Our Senior Pastor is finishing up seminary and will be here in July..please read his family blog to know how to pray for their family specifically. Go here! Pray as well for our associate pastor and his family, they have a home that needs to sell ASAP in order for them to move into our hood. We are begging God for a miracle, we are praying that his home will sell before the summer and God will provide a place for them on the west side. Please join us!
5.WE need more tutors for our after school program. Pray for laborers in the harvest.
6. For the hearts of our kids. (salvation)
7.For the staff to persevere through hardships and to always be reminded of the eternal perspective in ministry. We plant seeds, God causes them to GROW! Pray for our Unity as well as we continue to labor along side one another!
8.Support, Support, Support! WE need money in order to help minister the way we do. Pray God will provide more supporters to invest in our ministry.
9. That we would mightily witness the Holy Spirit work in our community in a strong way!
10. That we would love Justice, show mercy and always WALK HUMBLY with our God. (Micah 6:8)
