Its summer camp madness around here!! (if you're wondering why I've been so silent.) Things are going extremely well. My husband; who is the camp director, says this summer, he believes is the best year we've had thus far when it comes to how things have been flowing and the organization. WE are so thankful!! We have a total of
99 kids we are working with this summer. Monday- Friday they are involved in numerous activities, from swimming to sewing, architecture, bowling, dance, gymnastics, academics, Taekwon-Do, basketball, and cheerleading. God has provided many volunteers and
20 amazing summer interns. So much going on, so many wonderful opportunities to see God at work where we are. The Lord, in HIS provision of our building really has created a safe-haven for our kids, kids who we believe during the summer (or anytime) is most venerable to the destructive influence of our streets. I just smile at the thought of all God is doing. He really is rebuilding the city.
